Endodontics in Toronto

If you’re feeling intense pain or sensitive to hot and cold in a tooth, you may have a tooth infection. In this case, a root canal procedure will be required to save the tooth.

Root Canal

Inside the tooth we have a bundle of nerves knowns as the ‘pulp’. Damage and decay, if left untreated, can end up getting inside the tooth and infecting the pulp. Endodontics treatments can save the tooth and prevent further damage. First, your dentist will drill a hole inside the tooth and remove the infected pulp. The cavity will then be filled with a composite material that protects the tooth structure.

Your dentist will ensure you’re informed and comfortable throughout your entire root canal procedure.

If you’re experiencing pain or sensitivity in a tooth, give us a call for an endodontics consultation.

Videos about Endodontics:

"I highly recommend this clinic. They work hard, they are focussed, and they really try to make me, the patient, feel that I am well treated." -- Alex B.
"A friend recommended me to Dentistry at Fairlawn and I've had nothing but good experiences. They're very good, precise and they've never recommended a procedure without fully explaining it and giving me time to consider it." -- Marcus B.
“I was in need of a crown on one of my front teeth and was referred to Dr. Heinola for the procedure. Dr. Heinola clearly explained the procedure and the options available to me and did a fantastic job with my crown. The rest of the staff were very friendly and professional as well. I will definitely be going back for any work I need in the future.” -- Shant H.
